Tailwind Capital Sells Cumming Group

New York – December 2021 – Tailwind Capital (“Tailwind”), a leading private equity firm focused on services investments within select end-markets, has completed the sale of Cumming Group (“Cumming”) to New Mountain Capital. As part of the transaction, Tailwind will retain an equity stake in the company alongside New Mountain Capital. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Seattle, Cumming provides critical project and cost management consulting services that add value and minimize risk at every step of a project’s development.
