Anvil and Smith-Cooper International Acquire ABZ and Quadrant Valve Brands
New York – January 2021 – Anvil and Smith-Cooper International (“Anvil/SCI”), a portfolio company of Tailwind Capital, today announced the acquisition of the ABZ and Quadrant Valve brands from parent company Forum Energy Technologies, Inc (NYSE: FET). This transaction represents the third add-on acquisition for Anvil/SCI since Tailwind invested in the company in November 2017.
ABZ, located in Madison, Kansas, is a leading provider of resilient seated and high-performance butterfly valves, serving the industrial, processing, chemical, mining, and data center markets. Quadrant, located in Broussard, Louisiana, is a leading provider of patented, quarter-turn specialty ball and butterfly valves, serving the chemical, petrochemical, and upstream energy markets. ABZ and Quadrant’s strong commitment to providing high-quality products and solutions has positioned the brands as industry leaders.
