Mr. Croft assists Tailwind in sourcing, evaluating and performing due diligence on industrial services opportunities, with a focus on partnering with portfolio companies’ management teams to improve operations and execute add-on acquisitions.
Mr. Croft has over 15 years of operational, M&A, and strategic advisory experience. He previously worked at Harris Williams & Co. and Goldman Sachs, where he advised clients on M&A transactions across a number of industries, with an emphasis on specialty outsourced solutions, environmental services, and value-added distribution. He has extensive experience partnering with family owned, sponsor backed, and public companies across the broader middle market.
Mr. Croft was previously a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, where he served on board the Ballistic Missile Submarine, SSBN 734 Tennessee, which earned the Battle Efficiency Award as a top performing submarine. Mr. Croft also completed the Navy's Nuclear Power School, Prototype, and Prospective Nuclear Engineering Officer course, garnering the designation as a qualified nuclear engineer.
Mr. Croft received an MBA from the Darden School of Business and a BS from the United States Naval Academy.
