New York – January 2020 – Tailwind Capital (“Tailwind”), a middle market private equity firm investing in targeted sectors within healthcare, business services and industrial services, announced that Sanjay Swani has joined the firm as a Partner, focused on technology and business services investments. 
 
Sanjay joins Tailwind with over 20 years of private equity experience, having previously worked at Welsh, Carson, Anderson & Stowe, where he served as General Partner, member of the management committee, and co-head of the Information & Business Services group. He also co-founded Saroras Private Capital, which invests in high growth technology and information services businesses.  Sanjay began his career at Morgan Stanley in mergers, acquisitions and restructuring. He will join Tailwind’s management committee alongside Jeff Calhoun and Larry Sorrel.
