Bruce Dressel Joins Tailwind Capital as an Operating Executive
New York – July 2020 – Tailwind Capital (“Tailwind”), a middle market private equity firm investing in targeted sectors within technology and business services, industrial services and healthcare, announced that Bruce Dressel has joined the firm as an Operating Executive, focused on industrial services investments. Mr. Dressel has worked with Tailwind as a portfolio company board member since 2016 and currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Anvil/Smith Cooper and on the Board of Directors of RANDYS Worldwide.
Mr. Dressel has over 30 years of experience within the industrials sector. Most recently, Mr. Dressel served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Herc Rentals Inc. (NYSE: HRI), a global leader in the equipment rental industry. Previously, Mr. Dressel served as President and CEO of Sunbelt Rentals, a subsidiary of Ashtead Group plc (LSE: AHT), where he served on the Board of Directors. During his tenure at Sunbelt, he grew the company from 24 to 195 locations. Following Sunbelt, Mr. Dressel was Chief Sales Officer for ADS, a provider of equipment and logistics support solutions.
